Inchinnan Old Parish Church

Inchinnan

You can see there is no tower or spiral.Key Architectural Facts • The Original Plan: When All Hallows Church was built in 1904 (designed by Sir Robert Rowland Anderson and financed by the 1st Baron Blythswood), the architectural plans featured a prominent square tower designed to rise to 125 feet. • Incomplete Construction: The distinctive square tower was left unfinished and the planned spire was never added. • Demolition: The All Hallows building itself was eventually demolished in 1965 because it sat directly in the takeoff and landing flight paths of the expanding Glasgow Airport.
