Edinburgh old town
Edinburgh
My interpretation of a picture I saw in a gallery window Edinburgh's Old Town: • the stone fortress on the green hill on the right reads as Edinburgh Castle • the row of colourful houses with red roofs below it reads as the Grassmarket / Vennel area • the tall blue-and-gold tower on the left is an imaginative take, not an accurate architectural portrait It's painted from imagination in your own colour palette rather than as a topographically accurate view, so I wouldn't treat it as a record of a specific street.
